I cleaned up several database issues tonight on the production server. These included:

• removing ia records with no parent node
• removing inactive nodes
• removing files of size 0

I also added a function that will allow better file lookup from media pages.

There is still lots more to do regarding cleanup of the ia module.

Just back from a great time at Pixelodeon. Got to give a fun presentation with JD. We showed off the new Channels feature. Nice crowd of folks. I met Hannah there, who hooked me up with the SB Indie CoOp, where I had another great meetup and told more folks about Ourmedia and SpinXpress.

I made a lot of changes just before the Pixelodeon event. Mainly adding the new channel templates, but also fixing a lot of old bugs. JD put together a great list of changes still needed in this area and so I hammered a few of those before the event and plan to keep at it through this next week.

I've been fixing a number of bugs. The main one related to how media pages were displaying media. There were a lot of problems with MP4 and other files due to some old embed code and a missing file. Things look and work much better now.

I also fixed a pet peeve. Long lists for "My other media" are now truncated to the most recent 12 posts and have a link to a separate page listing all media for that user. This makes for much cleaner media pages (and faster loading too).
