I updated Developer Tasks

I've made a lot of changes lately:

I've been in the Bay Area for several days and spent the entire day yesterday with follow-ups. Tomorrow is booked and so I'm hoping to return to Ourmedia related tasks next week.

Relaunch

• Homepage - contents of new home page
• Primary menu links - new navigation structure
• Left sidebar blocks - a single left nav to replace both left and right nav bars
• center section
• launch checklist - items we'd like to knock off before launch
• channels - list of channels at other sites

There are some new wiki pages that should help organize all the tasks for the new Ourmedia.

Here are various developer tasks that need attention:

User Feedback

• JD's notes on editing, blogger and other Development priorities
• Address issues in Richard Hall's HCI course study results.
• A Consuming Experience - registration issues and more

Internet Archive

• Sync Ourmedia nodes with archive regarding metadata such as licences and tags.
• Integrate/Utilize archive.org flash and thumbs.

Player Related

• create player sample page as per JD email to SpinFlow group
• support ogg
• better labels for revlog, etc (blank labels)
• graphics and messages for empty channels (icon, default video)

I've been making a lot of changes and additions to Ourmedia lately. It's been a blast and I'm learning a lot of things about Drupal, Apache, mySQL, Linux and on-line communities. I recently set up this new Tools site and thought I'd try to keep posting development updates. Nice thing about using Drupal is that I just turned on the blogging module and set the access for moderators. Now we have blogs and a wiki! Too cool.
